C’est ici sur le lieu de la Plaça Nova qu’est née la ville antique: Barcino. Ces lettres sont sculptées sur la place. Deux tours romaines flanquent la porte Del Bisbal. Cette place devient un marché aux antiquaires le jeudi de 9h à 20h. Les fêtes de l’avent et les sardanes se tiennent ici également.

the best Plaça in barcelona. the antiques are great to look at or buy, and there is always at least three live musicians in the area with a large crowd dancing or singing along.
